These are my thoughts. They are for me. For the me now, and the me to be.
I don't always make sense, and I like living that way.

My Obituary

I was allowed 300 words, and I still feel deprived of a full story at 341.

Rest In Beauty
Kelsey Burns was pursuing a photo shoot atop a winding staircase when she slipped and fell helplessly to the steps below her, resulting in an accident that lead to her death on June 17, 2070 near her home in Nice, France.  Her last attempt at capturing the essence of beauty fell with her.
Remaining in the hearts of many, including her husband Ryan Gosling, daughter Dierdre Gosling, and son Ryson Gosling, Kelsey will forever exist. Although she lived to be 78, she was “always very young and warm,” said Ryan.
After graduating from Pomona High School with the class of 2010, Kelsey moved out of her parents’ house in Arvada, Colo. to Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colo. to pursue a degree in Mass Communications.  Kelsey aspired to be a photojournalist.
In the summer of 2012, Kelsey interned in New York, shadowing photographer Brooke Shaden. Kelsey was young, eager and had a vision for beauty that was refreshing and profound.
After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in the spring of 2014, Kelsey moved to New York and opened a small art studio, focusing on photography with Brooke. While managing the studio, Kelsey also found herself a comfortable job at The New York Times as an upcoming photojournalist.
When she was 27, Kelsey, the fluent French-speaker moved to Nice, France on a whim. She was in search of love, and hoped to find it there.  Only a few months after she settled in, the hopeless romantic met Ryan Gosling. They married promptly, and had twins Ryson and Dierdre soon after.
“She really could find beauty in anything. Even in the small things,” said Ryan, gazing at the photographs on their walls.
Her favorite photographs will be presented at her funeral at 11 a.m. Sunday, June 25 in Nice, France, outside under the palm trees by the large Ferris wheel. Services will be conducted by Kelsey’s daughter Dierdre and her son Ryson, whom ask for non-black attire from anyone that would like to attend the service.
